Everything you need to know about participating in MusIQ Network.

General

What is the MusIQ Network?+

The MusIQ Network is a decentralized participation network designed to power music, creators, and communities through real engagement — not speculation. It exists to restore ownership to community by aligning participation, infrastructure, and digital coordination through transparent, blockchain-secured systems.

How does the MusIQ Network validate activity?+

Through its Proof of Action mechanism. First, participation events (such as music streaming, event attendance, content sharing, and community engagement) are submitted by applications. Next, MusIQ Nodes verify the authenticity of each event. Finally, rewards are distributed based on defined protocol rules. All actions must be verifiable, timestamped, and signed, and the network records activity on the Gnodi blockchain, making it publicly auditable and governed by transparent protocol rules.

Is MusIQ its own blockchain?+

No. MusIQ Network is a set of smart contracts running on the Gnodi EVM Layer 1 blockchain (chain ID 46634). Gnodi provides settlement, validation, and record-keeping; MusIQ provides the participation, node, and reward layer on top of it.

Who governs the MusIQ Network?+

The MusIQ Forward Foundation, a Wyoming-registered foundation, stewards the network under its charter, which is ratified by MusIQ Node Software License holders. Node operators vote on charter ratification and network parameters. Block Reign, Inc. serves as Service Agent, providing blockchain technology services. Governance does not grant ownership, equity, or financial rights.

LYRIQ rewards

What is LyrIQ and how is it earned?+

LyrIQ (LYRIQ) is a participation-based digital reward within the MusIQ Network. It is earned exclusively through verified activity — not purchased — and is used for ecosystem access, experiences, and redemption within the network. LyrIQ follows a declining emission schedule with front-loaded distribution to support adoption. Rewards are distributed across three pools: Proof of Action (supporting users and fans), Proof of Contribution (supporting node operators), and Protocol Commitment (supporting long-term ecosystem participation). It is designed for circulation and use, not accumulation.

Can I buy LYRIQ?+

No. There are no LYRIQ token sales. LYRIQ is only earned through participation: 60% of each year’s emissions go to Proof of Action, 30% to Proof of Contribution for node operators, and 10% to Protocol Commitment for voluntary lockups.

Is LYRIQ an investment, or can I cash it out?+

No. LYRIQ is a utility participation reward, not an investment or currency. It is not redeemable for fiat money and is not intended to have value outside the MusIQ ecosystem. MusIQ Network does not operate or support any market for it.

How much LYRIQ will ever exist?+

The maximum supply is 1,000,000,000 LYRIQ, issued over time on a declining emission schedule. Because issuance decreases each period and is shared among all participants, individual rewards vary and are not guaranteed.

MusIQ Nodes

What are MusIQ Nodes?+

MusIQ Nodes are the infrastructure backbone of the MusIQ Network. They validate participation events across the network, process reward distribution to participants, and support application integration with the ecosystem. Node operators may receive contribution-based rewards from the Proof of Contribution pool. The Gnodi blockchain serves as the settlement layer, providing transaction validation, ledger integrity, network security, and gas fee processing for node activity.

What do I get with a MusIQ Node Software License?+

A MusIQ Node Software License ($1,000 USD) gives you the right to run the MusIQ node software and take part in governance as a node operator, including voting on charter ratification and network parameters. It is a software license only — it does not grant equity, revenue share, or any profit right.

What do I need to run a node?+

The current baseline is a Linux server with at least 1 GB of memory, 20 GB of storage, and a fast, reliable, always-on internet connection. You can self-host, use a cloud provider, or use an approved third-party hosting service. Requirements may increase as the network evolves, and you are responsible for your own hosting costs.

How many node licenses are there?+

The MusIQ Forward Foundation has designated a maximum of 50,000 MusIQ Node Software Licenses. Up to 10,000 are allocated for early network development; the rest may be made available in phases set by the Foundation.

Are node rewards guaranteed?+

No. Proof of Contribution rewards depend on your node’s uptime and performance, how many operators are active, overall network activity, and a declining emission schedule. Rewards can be low or zero, and they begin only after mainnet node operations launch. Please read the Risk Disclosures before buying.

MusIQ Membership

What is MusIQ Membership?+

MusIQ Membership is a monthly subscription to MusIQ’s music listening platform. Listening and other verified activity on the platform can count as participation in the MusIQ Network.

How much does MusIQ Membership cost?+

Pricing has not been announced yet. The monthly price will be shown clearly before you subscribe.

How do renewals and cancellation work?+

Membership renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account, and your access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.

Do members earn LYRIQ?+

Verified listening and engagement may qualify for LYRIQ through Proof of Action. These rewards are participation-based and variable, may change through governance, and are not guaranteed. A membership is a subscription to a listening service, not a way to earn income.

Referral Partners

How does the Referral Partner program work?+

Approved partners get a referral link. When someone buys a MusIQ Node Software License or a MusIQ Membership through your link within 30 days of clicking it, you earn a 20% commission on that sale. If you recruit other partners, you also earn a 10% override on their referred sales. There are only two tiers, and nothing is paid for recruiting alone.

When and how are commissions paid?+

Commissions start as Pending, become Approved once the sale clears review, and are then Paid through Stripe Connect when your approved balance reaches $50. If a sale is refunded or charged back, the related commission is reversed. U.S. partners need to provide a W-9.

What am I allowed to say when promoting MusIQ?+

Describe node licenses as software licenses for running network infrastructure and LYRIQ as an earned participation reward. Always disclose that you earn a commission. Never make income claims, call a node or LYRIQ an investment, talk about returns or prices, spam, or bid on MusIQ brand terms in paid search. The Referral Partner Agreement has the full rules.

Can I earn a commission on my own purchase?+

No. Self-referrals, and referrals of household members or accounts you control, are not eligible for commission.
