Own the infrastructure.

MusIQ Nodes are the backbone of the network. They validate real participation, attest it to the Gnodi Layer 1, and give operators a vote in how the network runs. No gatekeepers. No extraction. Just flow.

MusIQ Nodes

Node operator overview

More than an RPC. A validator of real-world activity.

Traditional nodes only validate transactions. MusIQ Nodes extend that: they validate off-chain participation events and report verified activity to the blockchain for settlement.

Validate participation

Verify that streams, events and engagement are real, unique and within protocol rules.

Attest on-chain

Bridge off-chain activity to the Gnodi Layer 1, where it’s recorded permanently.

Support distribution

Process activity points and help distribute LYRIQ rewards across the network.

Govern the network

Ratify the Foundation charter and vote on infrastructure and network parameters.

Baseline requirements

Accessible by design

Requirements are intentionally light and may be refined as node software, validation workloads and network demand evolve.

  • $Linux-based server
  • $1 GB memory minimum (may increase with network workload)
  • $20 GB storage or higher
  • $Fast, reliable, always-on internet connection

Operating a node is operational in nature: it requires ongoing availability, monitoring and maintenance. Uptime of 95%+ over 30 days also earns Proof of Action points.

Where it runs

Your node, your choice

Self-hosted

Run the node software on your own Linux machine.

Cloud provider

Deploy on AWS, DigitalOcean or a similar provider.

Approved host

Use an approved third-party node hosting service.

Network supply

The MusIQ Forward Foundation has designated a maximum of 50,000 MusIQ Node Software Licenses, issued in phases aligned with network growth and governance.

Proof of Contribution

How node operators earn LYRIQ

30% of every year’s LYRIQ emission is reserved for infrastructure. Each day’s contribution pool is split by operator points — try the litepaper’s Year-1 example below.

Illustration of the published reward formula only. Actual rewards depend on network participation, validation and governance, decline as emissions step down, and are not guaranteed. LYRIQ is a participation reward with no promised monetary value.

MusIQ Node Software License

One license. A permanent seat in the network.

Purchase a MusIQ Node Software License and become part of the infrastructure layer — with a voice in network governance.

Pre-launch

You’re securing your license ahead of mainnet node deployment. Node software and rewards begin when the network launches.

Ratify the charter

License holders vote to ratify the Foundation charter, the litepaper and network parameters.

No investment, no equity

A node license is a software license. It carries no ownership, revenue share or profit rights, and LYRIQ rewards are variable and not guaranteed.

FAQ

Node questions, answered

What are MusIQ Nodes?+

MusIQ Nodes are the infrastructure backbone of the MusIQ Network. They validate participation events across the network, process reward distribution to participants, and support application integration with the ecosystem. Node operators may receive contribution-based rewards from the Proof of Contribution pool. The Gnodi blockchain serves as the settlement layer, providing transaction validation, ledger integrity, network security, and gas fee processing for node activity.

What do I get with a MusIQ Node Software License?+

A MusIQ Node Software License ($1,000 USD) gives you the right to run the MusIQ node software and take part in governance as a node operator, including voting on charter ratification and network parameters. It is a software license only — it does not grant equity, revenue share, or any profit right.

What do I need to run a node?+

The current baseline is a Linux server with at least 1 GB of memory, 20 GB of storage, and a fast, reliable, always-on internet connection. You can self-host, use a cloud provider, or use an approved third-party hosting service. Requirements may increase as the network evolves, and you are responsible for your own hosting costs.

How many node licenses are there?+

The MusIQ Forward Foundation has designated a maximum of 50,000 MusIQ Node Software Licenses. Up to 10,000 are allocated for early network development; the rest may be made available in phases set by the Foundation.

Are node rewards guaranteed?+

No. Proof of Contribution rewards depend on your node’s uptime and performance, how many operators are active, overall network activity, and a declining emission schedule. Rewards can be low or zero, and they begin only after mainnet node operations launch. Please read the Risk Disclosures before buying.
